Comparative Study of Institutional Repositories Between China and Japan

Abstract: According to the latest data released by OpenDOAR and NII, the paper introduced the status of Japan’s institutional repository, and then made a comparative study on the development of institutional repositories between China and Japan through resource types, discipline fields and repository software, wishing to promote actual construction of China's institutional repository further from material and consciousness levels.
