Enlightenment of MOOC for Information Literacy Education under the Environment of big data

Abstract: MOOC has entered the field of higher education in a remarkable way since 2012 and changed people's learning model subversively. This paper first introduced the background of information literacy education in the big data environment, and analyzed the development status and characteristics of MOOC. Combining with the conjunction point of MOOC and information literacy education for university students, it then put forward some suggestions on carrying out information literacy education for university students under the environment of big data.
