Abstract: Document resource construction has played a fundamental role in the construction of public library. While readers accept the service of library and library service primarily points readers to read the information, the access to information has become the key content needed to improve in library service system. Especially now in the era of information technology, public libraries generally apply computer network technology to provide readers with service, not only for improving the quality of library service, but also improving the service efficiency. However, library service system is a systematic operation with variety of activities starting in the environment of network, which can provide high-quality literature information service for readers. In order to achieve the intelligent management of library, librarian should improve the operational capacity and maintenance work of information equipment, and build the public library service system under the new environment. In this paper, the construction of document resource in public library service system was discussed.
