Experience and Problems of Organizing Special Issue—A case Study of Journal of Integrative Agriculture

Abstract: A lot of journalists take measures to organize special issues to expand and enhance journals’ influence and quality. However, not all of the special issues can improve and help the development of journals. This paper introduced how Journal of Integrative Agriculture (JIA) organized special issues from several aspects, including selecting topic, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing and etc. Based on the experience and problems in the process of organizing special issues, effective ways were put forward to enhance JIA’s quality.
