Practice and Development on the Coordinated Promotion of Reading Guidance and Digital Bibliography Service in New Media Environment An Example of Chongqing area

Abstract: New media reading has guided the trend and changes of the time with integrated reading manner, and digital library is to spawn and support new knowledge organization mode and service mechanism. To adapt to public reading demands, digital bibliography has deeply blended in socio-cultural communication, studying the new features of people’s reading and integrating various valuable digital resources. Based on the description analysis of Chongqing’s public library survey data, this paper analyzed the shortcomings and disadvantages of traditional OPAC in resource organization, retrieve methods and supporting measures by using bibliography theory. Under the background of digital space strengthening, it emphasized on combining the features of new reading with public reading needs and developing common bibliography revealing methods, to innovate and increase the reading guidance capacity of OPAC2.0 bibliography, build the coordination and integration of human spirit and information technology of the bibliographic and expand the guidance function of society and culture.
