Abstract: Local literature witnessed the history of local development, it is an important reference for us to learn about local history, understanding local culture, has a high use value. In addition, the local literature is not only important to the local cultural construction, but also plays a promoting role on local economic and political construction. Through the simple introduction on the local literature, this article analyzes the important significance of development and utilization of local literature, by analyzing the current library for the development and utilization status of the local literature, put forward some improvement measures, hoping to play a helpful role in the development and utilization of local literature.
