Abstract: In this paper, the author from the situation, the national reading of the present stage of our country public library in nationwide reading promotion activities in the role, Harbin city library for the nationwide reading activity and practical aspects are briefly discussed, finally summed up the public library and nationwide reading promotion activities is the relationship between promote each other, depend on each other
