Analysis on the Publication Status of Biotic Resources Journals

Abstract: This paper analyzed the publishing situation of Chinese journals on biological resources, including basic information, influential factors, published papers, ratio of fund papers, high frequency keywords and hot articles, as well as the setting methods and running strategies, so as to provide a theoretical reference for editors. Statistics results showed that there were only 5 Chinese journals on biotic resources, and their influence were not high. The number of published papers in this filed was limited, and the publications were basically related to plant resources. In order to adapt the powerful strategy of sci-tech periodicals, journals should actively adjust their strategy to own characteristics and serve the development of biological resources.
