Study on the Construction of Library Makerspace —— Based on the Practice of America's Library Makerspace

Abstract: This paper introduced the concept, main modes and value of library makerpsace, as well as the theoretical research and practice exploration of makerspace from China's and America's library fields. Based on the practice of America's library makerspace, it thoroughly analyzed the construction elements of library makerspace including space, equipment & tools, capital, cooperation mechanism, talent team, safety & responsibility, education &training, to guide the construction of China's library makerspace.
