Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet technology and the wide application of mobile devices, new media forms have showed the trend of integration, popularization and socialization in China, and also changed public reading habits quietly, making micro-reading featured with “short, flat, fast” to be a fashion trend. Meanwhile, it made the library based on paper reading as a medium update its service model to deal with the impact of new media. This paper studied the extension service model of library based on micro-media environment, and further explored the ways to promote the service and the problems that should be paid attention in the process of popularization.
