Abstract: With the development of cultural undertakings, community libraries have made remarkable progress. Community libraries make up for the limited coverage of public libraries, which should be promoted and popularized. This paper presented three common modes of community library construction at the present stage, and cleared away the role of community library in promoting public reading and national reading, and proposed the measures from triggering reading interests, guiding reading tendency, organizing reading activities, encouraging family reading.
