Empirical Study on Technical Innovation Ability of Universities Based on Patent Information Measure and Analysis

Abstract: This paper used patent applications, IPC, patent authorization ratio, H index, G index, effective rate of patent and exploitive rate of patent to assess the technical innovation ability of China’s universities, and applied SPSS to verify there were effective systematicness and feasibility among these seven indicators, which could quantify objectively the technical innovation ability of universities.
