Abstract: With the development of social media technology, social networking tools have become more and more popular, such as blog, micro-blog, WeChat. The position of mobile phone, as the biggest internet terminal, is more and more stable. Micro-media has broadened the way of library's reading guidance. This paper first introduced the development of micro-media, and analyzed its influences and challenges to the reading guidance of library. Finally, it put forward some suggestions for carrying out the reading guidance in the micro-media environment to provide a valuable reference for the research and practice of library's reading guidance.
