The Application of RFID in libraries, taking the Library of Shandong Agricultural University as An Example

Abstract: The effects of RFID application on the library resource allocation, staff management and service mode etc. were discussed in this paper. The application of RFID technology is a big progress in library service. It can realize the intelligent management of documents, self-service of borrowing and returning and it also lead to a series of changes in the space structure, resource allocation and staff management. Experiences and problems in the application of RFID were also summarized and some opinions and suggestions for the promotion of RFID system were also given out.
