The Analysis of Different Types of Farmers’ Information Demand Characteristics——Investigation of 450 Farmers in Shandong Province

Abstract: Based on 450 farmer survey data in Shandong province, this paper analyzes the relationship between farmers’ age, culture degree and information demand characteristics. Survey results show that the higher the farmer’s age, farmers’ technical training information demand and the possibility of choosing government service, mobile phone and networks are lower; the higher farmers’ culture degree, farmers’ technical training information demand and the possibility of choosing government service, mobile phone and networks are higher.
