Abstract: Investigation and Analysis of the Present Situation of Rural Reading is premise and base of promoting of rural reading activities. Through conducting in-depth research of the present reading situation of Dandong rural . Rural residents reading will increase but put into practice, the purpose of reading is to solve practical problems. Based on the analysis of the reasons, putting suggestions of promoting the reading activity of rural, that is to strengthen government support, Make full use of Cultural Huimin Engineering, promote rural library typical , setting up the rural volunteer team
