Services Ageing Readers to Build a Harmonious Society

Abstract: Faced with the arrival of an aging society, public libraries should focus on the reader's mental and physical aging characteristics, carry out a variety of information services, to meet the spiritual needs of the elderly. From the library of hardware and software environment, to the community-based cultural activities room to build, multi-channel reflects the large public libraries humane care for the elderly population. By extension services, expanding library coverage for older readers, give full play to its advantages in resources collections, while mining old knowledge base for building a harmonious society continues to play heat.
