Abstract: The paper points out that digital publishing is the product of new economic development mode, fundamentally different from conventional publishing in content, management, publication and commercial profit, and has a profound effect on sci-tech periodicals editing. The paper puts forward that editing talents of sci-tech periodicals must change ideas, including Internet thinking, academic ethics consciousness, innovation consciousness, copyright consciousness and information consciousness, master digital publishing technology, and enhance editing skills as well as related basic subject knowledge, to shape themselves to become qualified digital publishing talents.
