Abstract: In the information society, electronic resource has been increasingly becoming one of the most important resources for university library. After a dozen years’ development, compared with the original construction of electronic resource, the effective use of electronic resource in university library has become the focus. This paper analyzed the factors affecting the effective use of library’s electronic resource, and proposed some strategies from three aspects, including strengthening the propaganda of university library’s electronic resource, increasing the training of electronic resource retrieval and improving network infrastructure and service environment.
