Abstract: In the mobile media era, public library has built a new service platform for public reading. With the wide use of mobile information service in various fields, applying mobile information platform to extend public library service has become a hot topic in the field of library and information science. Mobile library with its easy access, real-time, interactive and personalized features, has become the welcome pocket library. From the perspective of public library service extension based on mobile media, this paper discussed the service model and development strategy of mobile library in public library.
