Abstract: With the development of social economy, people's life rhythm is accelerating, and new science and technologies emerge in endlessly. New type of digital library is being built, and has become the trend of social development. The emergence of digital library has played an important role in promoting the academic research, strengthening the data protection and storage and popularizing the knowledge of the public. However, there are a lot of problems in the use of digital library, like low utilization rate which led to idle and waste of digital resource. This paper mainly analyzed the main reasons for the low utilization rate of digital library, and put forward some constructive suggestions by drawing on the successful examples in the construction of digital library.
