Abstract: This paper introduced Excel, Access, Visual FoxPro and SQL Server applications in manuscript management information system, Through analyzing this paper puts forward that the editorial department using E-mail to receive the manuscript should adopt the Visual FoxPro to build manuscript management information systems, the editorial department using network contribution platform receive the manuscript can use Access to build manuscript management information systems, local manuscript management information systems suitable for the editorial department using network contribution platform were worth further studying.This paper provide reference for standardized construction of the editorial department.
