Abstract: The new edition of “Chinese Library Classification” (referred to as “CLC”) (Fifth Edition) made great changes in the expansion of the category. The author found something useful from her study, work and practice, for example the new edition of “CLC”(fifth edition) still exists duplication in choreography category, the category setting is not that concise, the subordinative relationship waits for discussing, etc. So the author proposed some optimization measures and hope it will be refered in the revise of “CLC” in the future.
