Abstract: The application and popularization of the internet of things technology in university library have caused fundamental changes in its operation, management and service mode. The subject service in the university library based on internet of things technology is studied in this paper. First the inherent demand and development trend of the services of the subject librarian under the new technology conditions are analyzed, including initiative, personalization and specialization of the subject service, undertaking the subject information studies, and establishing the subject service platform, etc.
