Construction of Library Online Training Platform Based on Moodle System

Abstract: With the popularization of Internet, online training platforms as a medium of knowledge communication has been more and more popular among learners. Open source learning management system is the primary means of online training platform. In this paper, the online training platform construction methods were introduced based on the practical work in a university library. First of all, by comparing the main features of the mainstream open source learning management system, the Moodle system was selected. Next, the platform’s construction method, and the integration of library training resource in platform content construction were introduced. At last, the method of online course building based on the online training platform was introduced.
