Investigation and Analysis on the “User Classification”on Websites of the "985" University Libraries And a Comparison with University Libraries Websites of British and America

Abstract: This paper investigated the websites of China’s "985" university libraries to find out the states of “user classification”, including the popularity, category, content, organization of “user classification” as well as location of “user classification” in the page of websites. By comparing aforementioned information with those in websites of British and American university libraries, it found out the deficiencies in libraries websites of China’s university libraries and made some suggestions.
