Study on the Current Situation and Countermeasures of Talent Team Construction in Newly Merged Local University Libraries-A Case of G University

Abstract: The new merged local universities are generally lack of regional advantages, and higher level of teaching and academic research and construction platform, with the weak basic environment and poor or imbalanced investment in the original foundation. And the talent team construction has also not been taken seriously for a long time in these university libraries. Its weak foundation mainly reflected in its age structure, gender ratio, academic structure, title structure, etc., resulting in the short board of development. Through the analysis of these factors, this paper proposed the urgency to strengthen the construction of library talent team and the ways to build and stabilize the team, as well as the suggestions on building the long-term mechanism.
