Visual Analysis on Academic Output of High-level Applied Scientific Achievements——From the National Prize for Progress in Science (2016, SCUT) Winners' Perspective

Abstract: To explore the characteristics of academic output of high-level applied scientific achievements in China, this paper took Professor Tang (SCUT) , one of the 2016 National Prize for Progress in Science winners, as the case, and gave visual analysis on his academic output around the award-winning theme, including published and cited SCI papers, publication quality, co-affiliation of SCI paper,and overview of patent application, and proposed some suggestions to the young scholars, scientific research institutions and scientific evaluating institutions who aimed to apply for the same award.
