Abstract: public library plays a very important role, can be guided to the people to read, so that all the people quality is improved. At present, the sense of cooperation and propaganda work, activities less, lack of effective reader investigation has promotion work in the public library of our reading, problems of activities in the form of simplicity. In order to promote the continuous development, the future should focus on doing a good job: to carry out effective promotion activities based on a detailed investigation on the reader; strengthen the reading promotion service system; starting from the "hardware" construction, to provide a good atmosphere for the readers; efforts to strive for the support, and actively do a good job of propaganda.
