The Generic Research Data Infrastructure (GeRDI) Project in Germany and Some insights from the Project

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] This paper carries on the research to the Generic Research Data Infrastructure (GeRDI) project in Germany, and summarizes its successful experience, in hope of providing references to the construction of research data infrastructure projects in China. [Method/Process] Based on the methods of literature study and survey of related websites, this paper investigated and analyzed the organization model, design principles, metadata schema and the architecture design of the GeRDI project.
