Abstract: The idea of slow city has become the mainstream of development pattern in city culture construction. It endowed new connotation and characteristics on the city culture construction. Library should get a profound understanding of this new concept and its connotation in the construction of slow city culture, and preserve as well as exhibit and spread the city's history and local traditional culture, providing slow service to residents including slow reading, slow space, slow activities, etc., and meanwhile strengthening the corporation with other organizations to extend the scope of slow service.
