Abstract: Mobile phone is one of the most convenient communication tools in modern people's daily life. Its powerful function in information transmission and reception has been infiltrating into library and information field rapidly. The applications of mobile phone make the management of library service more convenient and orderly, and narrow the service gap between local university libraries and big city's university libraries in certain extent. Based on the status quo of local culture and economics, this paper discussed the related issues on how to better realize collection information push service in local university from the perspective of mobile phone user platform, so as to provide feasible thoughts for building applied local collection information resource and better doing the collection information push service.
