Survey and Analysis on the Construction and Application Status of Wechat Public Service Platform of Public Library——Case Study of Provincial Public Libraries in Mainland China

Abstract: As the hot social application in the new media environment, Wechat has become an emerging auxiliary tool for library to provide service for its readers. Based on the research applied by many scholars, this paper investigated the Wechat public service platform of provincial public library from its construction and application status. Focusing on the existing problems such as the unsatisfactory construction, the delayed identification, the immature menu service and so on, it put forward a series of proposals to improve and promote the construction and development of Wechat platform.
