Construction of Agricultural Research Institutes LAN A case of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Abstract: Taking Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences as a case, this paper analyzed the construction of agricultural research institutes LAN. From planning, designing to implementation, based on actual demands, it constructed a stable, secure and high-speed agricultural research LAN, in which redundancy technology, gigabit fiber backbone and gigabit desktop were applied with the expansibility of smoothly upgrading to 10G Ethernet if needed, and proposed the current problems and suggestions.
