Disguised Multi-contribution of one Manuscript is Worthy of Attention In Science and Technology Periodicals

Abstract

Abstract: To further clarify the definition of multi-contribution, and better avoid this phenomenon. Based on the Directory of Academic Norms for Science and Technology in Universities, the Directory of Academic Norms for Social Science in Universities issued by the Ministry of Education and the Directory of Integrity for Scientific Research issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Combined with years of editing practice for Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops, this paper analyzed again in detail the phenomenon of multi-contribution. Some new disguised multi-contributions of one manuscript were found, and then putted forward corresponding countermeasures. Finally, This paper pointed out directly that the fundamental reason lies in the current academic evaluation system and the title appraisal system.
