Abstract: The paper makes a survey on the library websites of Project 985 Universities with questions about website navigation system based on the Information Architecture theory. Application in statistical analysis of the following five aspects: the comprehensive use of different types of navigation systems, global navigation, local navigation system, context navigation system, and assisted navigation system. Finally, the paper proposes five suggestions to provide reference for libraries. The suggestions are: use different types of navigation systems, emphasis on consistency and operability of global navigation, use reasonable navigation identities, provide guide or navigation help, pay attention to the construction of characteristics navigation.
