Research on Demand Expression and Retrieval Behavior of Online Animation Resources

Abstract: The study conducts a user experiment of animation retrieval on Internet to collect and analyze the selection of search paths, the features of retrieval queries and the processing behaviors of retrieval results. Such research results are concluded: the search paths and jump behaviors users applied are mainly affected by users’ mental and habit set; users express the search demands by constructing their own queries and tend to start from a generation concept to specify gradually; psychological threshold of the entrances alternate can provide timing references for search engines to implement interventions.
