Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, more and more requirements of data services fault tolerant have been requested. And the data storage has developed from the traditional single server storage mode to cluster mode, this paper gives a scheme ofhot standby mode with disk array based on IP Network Multipath group (IPMP group) technology after researching the advantages and disadvantages of several cluster modes ,which ensure the quickness of failover, and because of its data independent centralized management and the fault tolerant of application server ,the scheme not only accelerate the data transmission, but also ensure the reliability and integrity for data storage, thus greatly improving the entire performance of the storage system.
