Abstract: This paper discussed the definition and connotation of university library's subject service, further clarified the responsibility of subject librarian, and emphasized the subject service category and the significance of establishing subject service platform, and combined with the progress of domestic well-known university libraries' subject service and dynamic, to provide theoretical basis and practical examples for subject resource construction and subject service of university library.
