Abstract: According to the seat management’s requirements of reading room, this paper designs and implements a seat management system for reading room of Soochow university library. The system based on campus IC card, entrance guard system and location system, realizes seat reservation, seat selection, query, short-term retention, release, management, statistics and so on. The system realizes the LBS system by the communication between mobile client and server. The System reduces the reading room administrator’s work and improves the utilization efficiency of the reading room.
