Inspiration of Ischool on the Discipline of Information Science in China

摘要: 文章对美国ischools运动的思想进行了归纳总结,认为其主要体现在3个方面:一是提出了图书馆学情报学的定义;二是勾画了图书馆学情报学学科的层次结构;三是提出了情报研究的理论基础。针对中国情报学发展的困境,作者提出了以ischools为指导对中国情报学进行学科体系重构的设想,认为从情报概念入手,科学地界定情报学的学科归属和范围,夯实情报学理论基础,是进行情报学学科体系重构的根本途径。最后,作者对学科体系重构后的情报学教育提出一些自己的看法。

Abstract: This paper summarized the ischools movement in America, and pointed out its main thoughts in three aspects, first was the definition of library and information science; second was the hierarchy of the disciplines of library and information science; last was the theoretical basis of information research. According to the plight of the development of information science in China, this paper put forward the idea of discipline system reconstitution guided by the ischools, and proposed that scientifically defining the attribution and scope of information science and laying solid theoretical foundation of information science based on the concept of information, was the basic way to reconstitute information science discipline system. It finally gave some own views about information science education after the discipline system reconstitution.
