Academic quality is the life of academic periodicals, and is one of the important factors determining contribute or not of authors. The academic quality is interedependent and interacted with the high-quality of contributions. Taking the periodical Shandong Agricultural Sciences as an example, this paper analyzed the factors influencing the quality of provincial periodical quality from evaluation strategy for scientific research and talents, attentions paid by sponsor, guidance of core journal and service quality and creditworthiness, and put forward some measures for its academic quality improvement.
