At the present, Chinese ancient books were processed and edited by modern information technology, which implied that the books in paper would be saved well through internet, compact disc and other electronic data formats. It,named as digital treatment, represented the future perspective on the protection of Chinese ancient books. In the study, some typical and significant parameters, like the contents, interface design, search function, and the output results of Chinese Databank of Basic Ancient Books and Chinese Digital Library of Ancient Books, were compared and discussed. Both databanks showed their individual characteristic and differences. It will provide an importance references for efficient utilization and management of Chinese Ancient Books.
