Analysis of Subject Status and Trend of Shihezi University based on Bibliometrics

Abstract

Document published by Shihezi university based on SCI-E database from 2008-2012 was analyzed, using Histcite software and Excel 2007, including number and types of document, sources of publications, Web of Science Categories, hot words, authors, cooperate country and total citation. 607 documents were accepted by SCI-E database, 93.4% of which are articles. All of the documents were distributed in 365 kinds of publications. The number of chemistry multidisciplinary documents is the most. Among the cooperate country, America is accounting for 46% in document number and has the highest total citation.
