Study on the Status and Strategies of University Library’s Wechat Public Platform Service ——Case of China University of Geosciences Library

Abstract

By using CiteSpaceⅢ to visually analyze the literature on wechat platform of university library published in CNKI since 2013, this paper investigated the research hotspots and development tendency of university library’s wechat public platform in recent years. Based on this, taking the wechat public platform of China University of Geosciences Library as an example, it analyzed the current situation and the existing problems from readers’ attention and message reading based on the reading statistic data of posting messages and the results of questionnaire survey, and proposed some rational suggestions on the propaganda, the promotion of OPAC function, the type of posting messages and posting time, to offer a reference for the propaganda, promotion and service of university library in new media era.
