In this study, problems of current information literacy education were analyzed and the characteristics of free screen recorder software were introduced. By taking the information technology literacy course in East China Normal University as an example, the effectiveness of micro-video teaching was analyzed, which implied that it could activate thinking and promote participation, and be positive to enhance information literacy.
