Building Characteristic Collection Construction and Deepening Innovative Service System —A case of Xizang Minzu University

Abstract: Building characteristic collection construction and deepening innovative service system to better service for readers is the core service of university library. Taking Xizang Minzu University as an example, this paper put forward that library should start from the specific contents, thoughts and matters needing attention of characteristic collection construction and innovative service system, to build modern ethnic university library with the integration of informatization, digitization, networking and intellectualization, and provide more powerful support for teaching, scientific research and management work, and make contribution to the connotative development of the university and Tibetan education.
