Design and Implementation of University Library Website Based on the Website Group Management Platform—— A Case of Beijing Wuzi University Library Website

Abstract: This paper investigated and analyzed the website building technologies and existing problems in domestic university libraries, and studied the characteristics of VBS9 website group management platform and how to use VSB9 to build library web portal. By adopting VSB9 as the development platform of library website, it carried out the demand analysis on library website and described the development ideas, as well as the system components, detailed process template files for development of VSB9, and proposed the solutions based on technical difficult problem. VSB9 can complete the work of university library website building in a short time with low cost, which is good for building the library website and meet users’ functional requirements. The library website of Beijing Wuzi University has been launched, and can provide a practical case for the website building of library using the VSB9.
