Research on the Smart Service of Ordinary Engineering University Library under the big data Environment——Taking Xi’an University of Science and Technology Library as Example

Abstract: Library now has the character of big data, which can realize the aim of promoting the core competition and influence by converting library service to smart service. Taking Xi’an University of Science and Technology as example, this paper introduced the concept and characteristics of big data, and expounded its application in domestic and foreign libraries, and established the new smart library service system by collecting, analyzing and mining the lending data, library visiting data, electronic resource utilization, self-service equipment utilization and log data.
