Research of University Librarians’ Job Burnout

Abstract: Job burnout is a common phenomenon in careers, especially in the departments of universities. As an important symbol of university evaluation, university library is very important for culture inheritance and construction. Therefore, paying attention to the job burnout of university librarians is an essential issue for the development of library and university career. Using SPSS software, this paper analyzed the phenomenons and causes of university librarians’ job burnout based on questionnaire, and proposed the countermeasures and suggestions to relieve the job burnout of librarians from social cognition, university management system and the quality of librarians.
